Frequently asked questions

Yes. Call about work that is difficult to bring to the Bunkie shop, including eligible trailers, equipment and property metalwork. Location, access, materials and scheduling are reviewed before a visit.

JG's offers aluminum welding and custom boat fabrication. A damaged boat needs a review of the crack, material and overall condition before repair can be recommended. Send photos and measurements to start the discussion.

Custom metal signage includes aluminum letters, dimensional logos, frames and supports. Bring your artwork or idea, the requested size and the intended mounting location.

Custom awnings, canopy frames and supports are projects to discuss with the shop. Share property photos and measurements so materials, mounting, installation and site requirements can be reviewed.

Small, one-off fabrication inquiries are welcome. An existing component, drawing or measurements help the shop assess the fit. Feasibility depends on material, dimensions, intended use and project requirements.

Describe what needs to be built, modified, or repaired, how the finished work will be used, approximate dimensions, and where the project is located. Photos help more than anything else.

Yes. Send a full view and close-ups of the work area, ideally with a tape measure for scale. The quote form prepares an email; attach your photographs in your email program before sending it to the shop.

One-off custom work is the core of what the shop does. Contact JG's to discuss whether your specific project is a fit.

A hand sketch, a phone photo, a measurement, or an existing part to copy all give us something to work from. The clearer you can describe how the piece will be used, the better.

Metal repair inquiries are welcome. Whether a repair is appropriate depends on the component's condition, intended use, material, and project requirements — not every damaged part can or should be welded.

Trailer fabrication and modification are areas the shop works in. Contact us to discuss your trailer project and requirements, including intended use, dimensions, expected load, and desired features.

Yes. Homeowners regularly ask about gates, frames, brackets, supports, racks, and other metalwork around the property.

Commercial, contractor, and agricultural inquiries are all welcome, from equipment components to shop and jobsite metalwork.

Project timing depends on the scope, materials, current workload, and required fabrication. Contact JG's with your project details to discuss availability.

Pricing depends on the scope of the work, the materials involved, and the fabrication or repair required. Each project is quoted individually rather than from a price list.
